WHY SWITCHING TO GLUTEN-FREE JAFFA CAKES IS NOT THE MAGIC ANSWER TO WEIGHT LOSS

Now bare with me as I reel of this list of gluten containing foods:-

porridge oats, pasta, noodles, bread, pastries, crackers, cereals, many sauces, marinades, dressings, gravies, soups, breaded foods, ice cream, energy pars, pizza, beer, some vodkas, pancakes, waffles, pies lipstick, lip gloss…

Need I go on?

I think we can all agree that most of us, consume a lot of what’s listed in our diets (I'm not so partial to the lipstick mind)

If you have caeliac disease (gluten intolerance or sensitivity) it is life-changing, having to remove foods you enjoy and find alternatives to such a vast list of gluten containing foods.

For those of us who don’t have a known tolerance to gluten, take a look at that list of food and drink above. If you decide to cut out all of those from your diet (including beer and vodka) then you’re inevitably…………………

Also when it comes to gluten free options, this next bit may come as a surprise to some of you, but when it comes to calories......

THEY HAVE ROUGHLY AROUND THE SAME CALORIES, OR SOMETIMES SLIGHTLY MORE THAN GLUTEN OPTIONS

Just before you walk down the "free from" isle in you're local supermarket remember this,

If you’re NOT intolerant to gluten there really is no need to cut it out of your diet!

When you cut out such a vast amount of the foods listed regardless if they have gluten in or not, you’re GOING to lose weight!
