HOW TO SAVE OVER 400 CALORIES OFF ONE OF OUR FAVOURITE BREAKFASTS

Sunday breakfast!

It’s known for being greasy, calorific, but smells and tastes great!

Here I’ve managed to keep everything you love about a cooked breakfast but knock over 400 calories off it, giving you more to play with for the rest of the day.

Here’s how I did it:-

 

1) GEORGE FOREMAN is now your friend. His grill is fantastic. No more need for oil, 1 cal spray will do spray will do and opt for poaching your egg(s):

130 cals saved

 

2) SUBSTITUTE regular pork sausages for venison ones, lower in fat = lower in calories:

175 cals saved (and they taste awesome!)

 

3) SUBSTITUTE regular bacon for turkey bacon, more protein and lower in fat = lower in calories

85 calories saved

 

4) [OPTIONAL] substitute regular baked beans for 50% less sugar for an extra 40p (seems a bit of a rip-off for the calorie reduction but still)

25 calories saved

TOTAL SAVING OF 415 CALORIES

The approximate macro breakdown of the breakfast in the picture:

555 calories: Protein 56g, Carbs 45g, Fat 14g

Not too shabby I think you’ll agree.
